About us

As per Memorandum No. 22-268, the Socio-Behavioral Science Research Ethics Review Committee (SBSRERC) is as an independent body authorized to review socio-behavioral science research proposals of students, faculty, staff, and other researchers within and outside the University. It can approve or disapprove protocols, or require modifications to protocols and related documents. Most importantly, it has the responsibility to protect the rights, safety, and well-being of human participants involved in socio-behavioral science research and to provide public assurance of such protection.

      • Study Tools (Validated Questionnaire for Quantitative Surveys / Interview Guides, Observation Protocols approved by the Adviser, Case Report Form, Posters/Advertisements for Recruitment, etc.) with version number and date.
      • Curriculum Vitae of Researcher and Co-Researcher/Research Team (signed and dated)

      • Information regarding Funding, Sponsors, Institutional Affiliations, other potential Conflicts of Interest

      • Contracts and Approval of relevant offices (Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) if study is collaborative in nature: Materials Transfer Agreement (MTA), Intelllectual Property Approval, Investigational Device Exemption (IDE), when relevant
